Ever been caught short? and realised its going to take 10 mins to undo your belt?
This is an aftermarket product designed to keep the aesthetic of a cavalry style stable belt but with the convivence of a quick locket release.
This slimline buckle is easily fitted, between the slide adjuster and leather buckle, we suggest getting a tailor to fit correctly, for max strength.
2 size options available:
- to fit webbing with 75mm (usually known as the male width fitting)
- to fit webbing with 65mm (normally known as the female width fitting)
A brief history
The term "stable belt" originates from when cavalrymen would place the belt around the waist. They would then move the buckle to the side, when cleaning the stables and tending to their horses. This would prevent injury to the animal.
As technology moved on corps quickly adopted clasp buckles but keeping the traditional colours.

Fitting Guidelines
Although we provide both male and female buckle parts you only need to get a tailor to fit the male part as per the picture, as the female end is already fitted into the leather buckle.

Fitting Instructions
- undo the stitching on the adjusting slider (on underside of belt)
- unthread the webbing from the leather buckle
- replace with the male part of the buckle
- test fit
- re-thread webbing through the slider (on underside of belt)
- restitch
- re-adjust slider to fit belt comfortably
top tips
- while the leather buckle is apart, nourish the leather with polish and buff off excess, to keep it looking clean and fresh.
- don't want the chrome to be as noticeable? paint the male section to blend in the leather buckle, we have even heard of clients, getting some thin leather and covering buckle to be totally invisible
